Oofa. Never actually saw any of the deleted scei. There's a reason things get deleted. His hair continuity. Her eyeline. Ludicrous dialogue notwithstanding total lack of awareness of his abilities to check the 'blank' gun powder, trigger/ heat / heart palpitations sweat gland activation on & on. His shadow all over her?? Shoes that don't lace up? So... Her bizarre costuming throughout each of the movies notwithstanding, she's suggesting Slip-ons?? maketh a man sexier. Plus chucking self out window. After 60 seconds of Discovery.... plus no windows open in NYC lol. On and on. But- they clearly had to figure some versions of how LL is a genius hard nose journo etc etc but can't see through his glasses (and super hypnosis) disguise..via 2nd unit? Can't imagine RD was actually present for half of these scenes. The blocking. The fake plants everywhere... Vast wide screen 35mm beautiful lighting of absolutely nothing setups of ppl standing . I was into the movie and esp ii. But.... Looking back you can really see how lucky the clever editors saved the absolute turkey possibility.

Clark would have seen the bullet or no bullet coming out of the gun, but you could not have her use real bullets because that would have made the movie much more cynical. Hence, the lame scene with the hand in the fire.

born late 90's...hired Superman II on video from the local library...for 2 years straight,give or take a few weekends, i borrowed Superman II every weekend...Than once in a blue moon the local south African tv channel would have Superman movie triathlon...saw Brandon Routh ,Tom Wellings, Dean Cain, even Superboy...and those who carried the mantle of playing Superman...Christopher Reeves was,had and always be the gold standard ,only other singular individual made it to this level is RDJ ,he is the only other actor who is worthy to share that honor
